Today Samsung presented their quarterly revenue regarding the second quarter of 2013. Although the elecronic giant presents excellent numbers, analysts expected even higher revenue and income.
Samsung stated, that during the second quarter 2013 the company was able to reach 6.5 Billion Euro profit but still analysts were disappointed. According to a report from Reuters, no less than 43 Analysts expected Samsung to hit 6.9 Billion Euro profit. Furthermore also total revenue was behind expectations. The same analysts calculated that revenue should have been at 39.9 Billion Euro instead of 38.8 Euro.
Once more the most important product at Samsung was their fagship smartphone, which these days is the Samsung Galaxy S4. Within only two months after launch, Samsung managed to sell 20 Million devices. Comparing this to the predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S III, shows that back in the days it took 100 days to sell 20 Million units.
