It's hardly any news at all that Samsung's Galaxy smartphones sell like nothing else. But still the pace at which the electronic giant is selling their latest breed is quite breathtaking. It's almost boring meanwhile to talk about record sales, but still surpassing the 20 millionen mark is definitely an achievement.
To provide some context, Samsung was able to sell 20 Million devices within only 100 days. In other words this means, that on average there are 200'000 Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones being sold per day. Comparing these results to the success of the Galaxy S3 shows that Samsung sells 1.7 times as many Galaxy S4 then they managed to do with the Galaxy S3 within the same time frame. According to the Korean Times these numbers have not yet been confirmed by Samsung and the company will soon release an announcement on the sales numbers. By also considering, that the Galaxy S4 has been rolled out in May but actually wasn't available in several markets until the beginning of June puts the number of 20 million again into another light.
