Just a day ahead of its launch a press-shot of the upcoming Asus Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU II has found its way on-line. The pictured card is the exact one that showed up in the European retail/e-tail earlier last week and should be available in both OC and non-OC version.
The upcoming Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II uses a compact PCB with a slightly different DirectCU II cooler than what we will have a chance to see on Asus' GTX 770/780 DirectCU series as it features a combination of 8mm and 10mm nickel-plated copper direct touch heatpipes. The heatpipes are connected to a large area heatsink cooled by a pair of 80mm fans.
As noted, the Asus GTX 760 DirectCU is expected to be available in both OC version with factory-overclock set at 1006MHz base and 1072MHz GPU Boost clocks as well as the non-OC one that will feature reference clocks of 980MHz base and 1033MHz GPU Boost clocks. The 2GB of GDDR5 memory should be clocked at 6.0GHz on both versions.
The price is still expected to be anywhere between US $250 and $300 range.
