Microsoft's Windows 8.1 Preview should be unveiled during Microsoft Bulid Developer Conference scheduled to kick off on June 26th in San Francisco and according to early leak, it appears that the system requirements are identical to those of Windows 8 after all.
According to a report, the Windows 8.1 Preview will have exactly the same system requirements as the Windows 8 so you are looking at 1GHz of faster CPU, 1GB of RAM for the 32-bit version and 2GB for 64-bit one, 16 and 20GB of storage space for 32-bit and 64 bit one and DirectX 9 capable graphics card with WWDM driver. Microsoft simply stated that Windows 8.1 will work great on the same hardware that powers Windows 8.
Microsoft's Windows 8.1 should bring some impressive and well needed improvements but we'll wait for the official unveil to give our final judgment.
