ELSA announces Geforce GTX 770 SAC

Custom PCB and SAC cooler

ELSA has announced a new addition to its Geforce GTX 700 series lineup, the GTX 770 SAC (silent air cooling). Featuring a custom-design PCB paired up with ELSA's own SAC cooler, the new GTX 770 SAC will work at reference clocks in order to make it as quiet as possible, even under full load.

The new GTX 770 SAC works at 1046MHz base and 1070MHz Boost GPU clock while 2GB of GDDR5 memory ended up clocked at 7.0GHz. The SAC cooler that ELSA decided to use features a couple of copper heatpipes with direct contact with the GPU and connected to a rather large aluminum heatsink cooled by a pair of 80mm fans. The shroud itself is is easily detachable via six thumb screws in case you want to do some maintenance.

The new GTX 770 SAC needs 8+6-pin PCI-Express power connectors and feature two DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Judging by the early info, the new card should on-par with most reference-design GTX 770 but offer superior cooling.
