During the Barclays Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference, Nvidia's VP of Investor Relations, Roc Csongor, noted that Shield should be available in August, while Tegra 4 should show its face in very late Q2.
Rob Csongor noted that Shield is currently up for pre-order while the mass availability is expected in a couple of months, or to be precise, sometimes in August. Tegra 4 on the other hand will show up in late Q2 which lines up with what we heard before. There aren't many Tegra 4 announcements, other than Nvidia's promises of multiple design wins, and the only announced device is HP's Slatebook.
It looks like the plans for Tegra 4 have been pushed back for at least an extra month and at least some announcements should be seen at Computex that is scheduled to start next week in Taiwan.
Unfortunately, Nvidia Shield console will be heading to the US and Canada for starters and Europe should get it at a later date. The only drawback is its US $349 price tag.
