In addition to the upcoming desktop Richland APUs, AMD is apparently working on some Richland parts that will have disabled graphics part and will be apparently available under Athlon brand.
The parts could include both dual, Athlon X2 and quad, Athlon X4 SKUs, and Athlon X2 370K was detailed at CPU-World.com. The new Athlon X2 APU, if you can call it APU since its GPU part has been disabled, features 2 CPU cores and a maximum Turbo Core clock of 4.2GHz. It should also have an unlocked multiplier while feature list should be similar to the Richland A4- and A6-series desktop APUs with 1MB of L2 cache and up to 65W TDP.
The new Richland based Athlon CPU/APU will be compatible with the FM2 socket.
