Samsung expects to ship 30 million Galaxy S4 smartphones

10 million in the first month

Samsung apparently has very high hopes for the recently announced Galaxy S4 smartphone as it expects to ship a total of 10 million units in the first month.
To make things more interesting, Samsung is saying that shipments should rise to 30 million by the end of the second quarter 2013. As you already probably know, Samsung Galaxy S4 should launch in 50 countries worldwide by th end of this month. The demand, or at least the interest, for the Galaxy S4 is quite big and Samsung might even hit its shipment estimates.

The report comes from Digitimes.com, and according to it, Samsung is in much better position than the HTC with its HTC One smartphone, plagued by component shortages.

In any case, Samsung will certainly hit big with the Galaxy S4.
