According to information posted at Hardwareluxx.de, it appears that AMD wants to extend, or to be precise, launch a new Never Settle program that will be based around APUs rather than GPUs as it was the case with Never Settle and Never Settle Reloaded deals.
The slides that showed up show that as of the second week of April, AMD plans to bundle a free Origin game download code for SimCity with selected AMD A8 and A10 series APUs. This move would add US $59.99 of value to those APUs and judging by the success of the Never Settle GPU programs, this one might also do well.
In the same slide, AMD decided to show a performance gap between Intel's Core i3-3225 system with and without Nvidia Geforce GT 620 graphics card and its A10-5800K, showing that A8-5600K can render up to 71 FPS while both of those systems are way below 50 FPS.
Unfortunately, the details regarding the new APU/SimCity program regarding region and APU models is still not clear but we guess it will show up pretty soon. Hardwareluxx.de was informed by AMD that the SimCity bundle will be available as of 18th of April.
