The new UD Pro product series initially comes in two capacities, 256GB and 512GB. These units come with a SATA-III interface so the performance is not going to be a surprise. As expected the UD PRO SSDs are able to max out the SATA-III interface, hitting up to 530MB/s sequential read and 500MB/s for sequential writes. In the case of 4K speeds 75'000/80'000 IOPS are achieved regarding random reads/writes.

Both units are covered by a 3-year warranty plan. Prices look very aggressive since the 256GB should cost $68.99 USD and the 512GB should hit $119.99 USD. Gigabyte should add soon M.2 NVMe as well as add-in card high-performance variants during Computex time.
