Following ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI also ASRock has unveiled few models based on AMD X470 chipset. The company has added five models: the X470 Master SLI/ac, the Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4, the X470 Taichi, the X470 Taichi Ultimate, and the X470 Gaming-ITX/ac.
The X470 Taichi and Taichi Ultimate are nearly the same motherboard. The Ultimate sports better Gigabit Ethernet chip as well as onboard buttons. Beside that, both motherboards come with eith SATA ports, two M.2 sockets and Realtek ALC1220 codec. Furthermore they share the same power design and external clock generator for BLCK overclocking.
The X470 Master SLI/ac and the Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 are rather similar too. Design wise they share the same layout, the main difference is about the WiFi module and the audio codec. Overall, the Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 is a bit better and rather close to the Taichi series. Last but not least we have the X470 Gaming-ITX/ac. This model comes with mini-ITX layout and several features.
The little mini-ITX includes Intel Gigabit Ethernet port and 802.11ac WiFi module. Furthermore it comes with Realtek ALC1220 as audio codec. Unlike the other models, the X470 Gaming-ITX/ac sports video outputs too.
The X470 Master SLI/ac will cost around $150, and the Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 should be $20 more expensive. The Taichi and Taichi Ultimate will cost $230 and $300 respectively. Meanwhile the X470 Gaming-ITX/ac will be around $180.
