PNY has unveiled a new graphics card which belongs to their XLR8 series and it's supposed to deliver solid performance. After a first look it appears that it's going to be a rather long graphics card. The GeForce GTX 1070 XLR8 OC comes with a black and red color scheme.
The heat sink comes with a dense aluminum fin stack and several heatpipes. The metal shroud has been painted black and on the flipside there is a solid backplate. What's interesting about the GTX 1070 XLR8 OC is the massive cooler which makes the card measure almost 30cm. Furthermore there are three fans, which are supposed to provide enough air.
While the GTX 1070 Founders Edition works at 1506MHz/1683MHz Core/Boost frequencies, this factory-overclocked PNY GeForce GTX 1070 XLR8 OC clocks with 1607MHz/1797MHz Core/Boost. Regarding connectors we find the usual three DisplayPorts 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0b and one dual-link DVI port.
According to Geizhals, the GeForce GTX 1070 XLR8 OC should already be available for €516 Euro.
