ASUS has launched two new graphics cards which are based on the new flagship chip from NVIDIA. Right after the announcement of the new GTX 1080 Ti, manufacturers like ASUS have already shown their custom models. The ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti should be the new high-end model from ASUS while the GTX 1080 Ti TURBO is a more budget-oriented graphics card.
The new ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti TURBO features a reference PCB with a blower type cooler. Since the card is not out yet, we don't know if this cooler is better or worse than the NVIDIA Founders Edition. This card is supposed to deliver solid performance at a competitive price point. Checking the specs we see that the ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti TURBO comes with the same frequency as the reference model. Regarding connectors we find the usual three DisplayPorts 1.4, one HDMI 2.0b connector and one dual-link DVI port.
Furthermore ASUS has also shown the first custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti which goes by the name ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. Although at the moment there aren't many details available on this card, the vendor might be using the same STRIX cooler we can already find on the GeForce GTX 1080 STRIX cards.
Since all the latest ASUS motherboards have been equipped with an armada of LEDs for RGB lighting, also on this graphics card there are several LEDs on both sides. According to ASUS, this model should feature Super Alloy Power II and high-end components regarding the power design. Judging by the product code, we are looking at factory-overclocked model, although the clock speeds were not confirmed yet.
