Although Ryzen is still a week away from its official launch, we are still receiving a lot of informations and details regarding AMD's upcoming architecture. Thanks to a leak from the Youtuber "The Tech Chap" there are more details about AMD's new overclocking utility.


The so called AMD driver suite includes a new panel for AMD Settings and “Ryzen Master”. According to the image from "The Tech Chap", Ryzen Master will allow you to change several settings from within Windows. There is for example the possibility to alter the CPU Voltage, the CPU frequency, the number of active cores as well as several details related to the memory. On top of that you can save profiles. A quick look at the clock range shows you can choose anything between 3.0GHz and 6.375GHz. According to the latest rumors, this range might not be the same for the different Ryzen CPUs that don't feature XFR technology.

Nevertheless we hope there are also going to be features that allow to control fan speeds, a stability test and maybe automatic overclocking. Compared to AMD's current overclocking utility (AMD OverDrive), the new Ryzen Master seems much better in terms of design. The new tool comes with a semi-transparent black background and a few additional yellow and white design elements. At a first glance this new and sleek UI, appears to make AMD Ryzen Master a great competitor to Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility.

• White Row-Column Delay (15 bus clock at standard)
• The ability to save up to four custom profiles
