A few months ago during, Computex 2016, Phanteks has given a first glimpse at their upcoming water cooling products. Now, several months later, Phanteks releases their Glacier series of CPU and GPU water blocks, supporting a wide range of custom GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards as well as Intel CPUs.


With the new Glacier C350i series, Phanteks offers CPU water blocks with support for RGB LED lighting, which is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync and MSI Mystic Light Sync. The water block features a nickel plated copper base and it's compatible with Intel's socket LGA 2011, 2011-v3, 1150, 1151, 1155 and 1156. Although AMD Ryzen is pretty close, there are no water blocks, which are compatible with the upcoming socket AM4. Since Phanteks is already offering retention kits for AMD Ryzen in the case of their tower coolers, we are sure that we will see water blocks for AMD Ryzen as well.

Furthermore Phanteks has also released their GTX 1080/1070 series of Glacier water blocks. In order to offer wide compatibility, Phanteks has made several GPU water blocks compatible with Nvidia's GTX 1080/1070 Founders Edition designs, ASUS' Strix models, Gigabyte G1 models, MSI Gaming Models and EVGA FTW models. These water blocks will also be available in Satin Black and Mirror Chrome finish.

The new Glacier series is already available for pre-order on Caseking. The Glacier C350i in both Satin Black and Mirror Chrome versions is available for 79.90€, while the Glacier GTX in both Satin Black and Mirror Chrome version is available for 149.90€.
