Also MSI presented upcoming boards but there were no new models we’ve not yet written about. Due to a leak a few weeks ago we already know that MSI will offer the X370 XPower Gaming Titanium and the B350 Tomahawk. Nevertheless MSI has mentioned to create gaming grade motherboards based on AMD’s X370, B350 and A320 chipset.


Like with their Z270 based models the lineup will be segmented into Enthusiast Gaming, Performance Gaming and Arsenal Gaming. Apart from that they will also add a so called Pro series.

The X370 XPower Gaming Titanium feature a silverish PCB and black heatsink with silver metal covers. Since usually the Titanium motherboards are the flagship models within MSI’s lineup we don’t believe MSI will make an exception regarding AMD Ryzen.

Having a more detailed look at the board we seed three PCIe Gen 3.0 slots while two of them received steel reinforcements. Between the first and the second full-sized PCIe slot there are two slots distance providing plenty of space for graphics cards to breathe in the case of multi-GPU setups. On the storage side we see two M.2 slots and additionally there are six SATA ports, a U.2 port and an internal USB 3.1 header.

The MSI B350 Tomahawk is a mid-range motherboard and thus the PCB hasn’t been crammed with features. Nevertheless there is a M.2 slot, sitting in between the first and the second full-size PCIe slot, and four SATA ports. Apart from that there are two PCIe Gen 3.0 slots and only one features steel reinforcement. On their upcoming socket AM4 based motherboard MSI will offer the same features which can be also be found the vendor’s Z270 based boards. Design-wise that is DDR4 and PCIe steel armor, RGB LEDs and the M.2 Shield.
