Bitfenix announces Shogun case

Made from aluminum and tempered glass

A few months ago during Computex 2016, Bitfenix had announced the launch of a few different cases. Now the company is ready to present one of those new cases, which goes by the name Shogun. It a rather large mid-tower chassis that’s been made from aluminum, SECC steel, ABS plastic and tempered glass. This model is also compatible with ASUS' lighting system Aura.

The New Shogun is elegant yet aggressive looking at the same time. It measures 565 x 250 x 525mm with a net weight of 14Kg and classifies as a super mid-tower. The top and the front face plate are made from aluminum, both side panels are made from tempered glass and the main chassis is made from solid SECC steel. The aluminum touch adds premium looks while the SECC steel body makes the chassis durable, without making the cost of the product go through the roof.

On the inside there is space for an E-ATX motherboard. Cooling wise a big radiator can be put into the front (280mm) and there is space for another large radiator in the top (360mm). In addition there is enough space for high-end tower coolers, which can measure up to 175mm.

The internal layout is overall quite simple and straightforward, you can install up to 6 HDDs or 8 SSDs. The Bitfenix Shogun is compatible with ASUS Aura, which means the LED strips included in the bundle can be synced with the motherboard.

The Bitfenix Shogun should be soon available for a suggested price of 170 Euro.
