ASUS has announced that its high-end Republic of Gamers GT51 desktop system is finally available and feature some serious hardware packed inside a sweet looking case as well as matching mechanical keyboard, gaming mouse and ROG Band as a bonus.
When it comes to core specifications, the new ASUS ROG GT51 desktop has an impressive list, starting with a liquid-cooled Core i7-6700K CPU ticking at 4.6GHz, two ASUS GTX 1080 graphics cards, special ASUS Z170 motherboard, up to 64GB of DDR4-2800 memory, two Samsung SM951 512GB SSDs in RAID 0, 1TB HDD and all the usual connectivity options including integrated dual-band 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The entire hardware, which also includes a closed-loop liquid cooling for the CPU is powered by a 700W ASUS PSU.
It also features custom lighting with four lighting zones, eight color modes and motherboard lighting, as well as features eight USB 3.0 Type-A, one USB 3.1 Type-A and one USB 3.1 Type-C Ports.
ASUS bundles the ROG GT51 desktop system with matching mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse as well as the ROG Band, a wearable devices that has an NFC chip that allows users to access the Shadow Drive, a hidden drive partition and activate CPU overclocking, in addition to fitness, time and usual wearable functions.
The system can be equipped with plenty of other hardware, including up to two Titan X graphics cards and other storage options but currently,
