As we already know, Nvidia has agreed to enter a settlement with owners of Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards as a result of the class-action lawsuit raised earlier and over the falsely advertised memory amount.
Those that are residents of the United States and are owners of the Geforce GTX 970 can
head to the GTX970settlement.com site which will connect them to the class-action suit and allow them to claim US $30 in damages Nvidia agreed to pay.
All users need to do is provide a verification code or proof of purchase, including a sales receipt, a credit card receipt or statement, a shipping manifest, a purchase order, an e-mail confirmation, or other similar documentation reflecting a qualifying purchase and the retailer
As noted and unfortunately, this deal is only available to residents of the United States as the court only has jurisdiction in that country. Hopefully, there will be a similar thing in Europe.
