It appears that Acer will be pushing the notebook size limit a bit further as the company is working on a 21-inch notebook that will feature a curved screen and dual-GPU setup.
According to a report coming from Digitimes, Acer's new gaming notebook, which will probably end up as a part of Acer's Predator lineup, could pack a 21-inch AUO curved screen, two GPUs, up to four SSDs, a mechanical keyboard, over five fans and a dual 330W PSU.
While all of this sounds like an overkill, it will be quite interesting to see how Acer managed to fit all that hardware in a notebook chassis.
While it will probably end up on a high-side when it comes to price, such desktop-replacement notebooks still have their market share as some buyers prefer to have the system and monitor packed in the same chassis which is portable, at least to some extent.
Most gaming notebooks peak at 17.3-inch but recently, notebook manufacturers are looking for a way to expand it to a larger screen, including ASUS, which already teased a 24-inch gaming notebook before Computex 2016 show in June and MSI, which already has a couple of 18.4-inch gaming notebooks.
