The guys over at Videocardz.com claim to have come across 3DMark Fire Strike and Fire Strike Ultra scores gathered with the NVIDIA Titan X Pascal, which was announced yesterday. Compared to reference GTX 1080 there is quite a measurable difference, but in all honesty, the extra you get could be more.

According to the results published by Videocardz.com the NVIDIA Titan X Pascal hits 26660 Marks running Fire Strike and 6532 Marks running Fire Strike Ultra. Compare that to 21603/5043 a GTX 1080 reference reaches and you'll see that the 1200 USD card is 23% faster in Fire Strike and almost 30% quicker in Fire Strike Ultra.

Currently the cheapest GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition cards can be found for approximately 700 USD, which means that in the case of the Titan X you pay 71% more for about 30% more performance, which is actually quite a whopping extra. Apart from this it's interesting to us that comparing the specifications of the Titan X with the GTX 1080 one could come to the almost same conclusion. The NVIDIA Titan X features 1.4 times the CUDA core count and a 50% wider memory bus but slightly lower clock speeds, thus resulting in a theoretical 30% performance bump over the GTX 1080.

Apparently we're curious to see in-game performance of this card but at the moment it appears that with the Titan X you have to pay quite a lot on top for bragging rights and a black Founders Edition cooler.
