As Nvidia has officially unveiled its new Geforce GTX 1060 graphics card which should be available on July 19, most AIC partners are now starting to unveil their custom versions, including Gigabyte, with its GTX 1060 G1 Gaming graphics card.
While there are still no precise details as Gigabyte is probably still fine-tuning the clocks, the company was quite keen to note that it will have a custom PCB with 6+1-phase VRM, which is a significant improvement over 3+1-phase VRM design on the reference Founders Edition.
The new GTX 1060 G1 Gaming will also be using Gigabyte's well known Windforce 2X cooler with two 90mm fans and some unique features like composite copper heatpipes, 3D Active Fan and special blade design.
Gigabyte also included RGB illuminated logo and Fan Stop light along the top edge, something we have seen on Gigabyte's GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 graphics cards and which is currently unavoidable feature on the G1 Gaming series.
According to our information, Nvidia AIC partners should be ready with their custom GTX 1060 on July 19th so hopefully, Gigabyte's GTX 1060 G1 Gaming will be on the list as well.
