According to AMD Poland, the 8GB version of the upcoming Radeon RX 480 graphics card should have an MSRP of US $229, although we expect it to cost slightly higher in retail.
The suggested retail price for Radeon RX 480 8GB should be set at US $229, at least according to post over at AMD Poland Facebook page. Both the US $199 and the US $229 suggested retail pricing for 4GB and 8GB versions of the RX 480 will be hard for AMD AIB partners and we suspect that it will be quite hard to find it at these price points.
These prices also do not include the tax, which depends on the region and is quite high in some countries.
On a similar note,
Andrew "Gibbo" Gibson from Overclockers UK store noted that there won't be any custom designs available at launch on June 29th so early buyers could be limited to reference versions. He also added that there will be plenty of cards available at launch so hopefully AMD won't have any supply issues.
We will keep our ear close to the ground and hopefully we will get some information regarding custom versions from AMD AIB partners.
