The Wooting One keyboard reaches Kickstarter goal

Analog mechanical keyboard

The Wooting One keyboard, which is the first analog mechanical keyboard has not only hit Kickstarter earlier but has now achieved its Kickstarter goal which means it should be entering production soon.

While most mechanical keyboard offer only digital input, which reads signals from buttons as either on or off, analog input is a whole different story as it actually reads how far the key has been pressed. This is the same as trigger button on a joystick or so called analog "thumbstick" on most gamepads.

This way, the Wooting One keyboard should offer much better control over movement speed on a keyboard. The analog functionality can be turned off and the Wooting One keyboard also allows users to change each and every one of those mechanical switches.

The keyboard will come with RGB illuminated Flaretech key switches which come in red and blue mechanical switch options.

Hopefully, Wooting will announce its new Kickstarter goals soon and bring some new features to the Wooting One keyboard. Currently, all the early bird special deals are gone so you will have to pay €139 if you want the Wooting One keyboard.
