Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3 comes next year

SEGA and Relic promises great things

SEGA and Relic have announced that the sequel to the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War will be released in 2017 on PC. In addition to the release date, SEGA also revealed a few screenshots and an announcement trailer for the game.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 3 will be the first big title for Relic after it was acquired from THQ by SEGA back in 2013 and promises some great things like large scale battles, elite units and more.

“This is the Dawn of War that fans have been waiting for,” said Stephen MacDonald, the title’s executive producer. “Our biggest units ever? Check. Giant orbital lasers? Check. Base-building, epic heroes, huge battles, it’s all in there. Get ready for the biggest Dawn of War yet. For the Emperor!”

The cinematic announcement trailer, which you can check out below, shows Space Marines, Eldar and Orks in epic battle clashes, showing some well known as well as some new units.

Unfortunately, SEGA did not reveal any specific details regarding the launch, but we will most likely hear more about it at E3 2016 show in June.
