Gigabyte has unveiled its new Geforce GTX 950 graphics card which will not only feature an OC Mode, with decent factory overclock, but also lack the additional 6-pin PCI-Express power connector, the Gigabyte GTX 950 OC.
The new Gigabyte GTX 950 OC, model number GV-N950D5-2GD, is based on a standard Nvidia 28nm Maxwell GM206 GPU with 768 CUDA cores and 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface.
The card works at standard 1026MHz GPU base and 1190MHz GPU boost clocks but also comes with an OC Mode which needs Gigabyte's OC Guru software but pushes the card to 1051MHz GPU base and 1228MHz GPU Boost clocks. The 2GB of GDDR5 memory works at 6610MHz on both modes.
In addition to the lack of 6-pin PCI-Express power connector the new GTX 950 OC from Gigabyte also features Gigabyte's custom dual-slot cooler with a single 90mm fan.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date.
