Unveiled back at CES 2016 show in January, Corsair has now announced that it has now started shipping its new Corsair Carbide series Spec-Alpha mid-tower PC case with angular style design.
Based on what Corsair calls an "asymmetrical, hard-edged design",
the new Corsair Carbide Series Spec-Alpha case will be available in a couple of dual-color color schemes, including black and red, black and grey and red and white.
Featuring support for ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, the Spec-Alpha is a mid-tower PC case with up to seven expansion slots and dimensions set at 518x220x474mm. It also support up to 380mm long graphics cards, 156mm tall CPU coolers and up to 190mm long PSUs. As most cases today, the Spec-Alpha lacks any 5.25-inch drive bays but comes with three 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drive bays.
The Corsair Carbide Spec-Alpha PC case also comes pre-bundled with two 120mm LED front and single 120mm LED rear fan which are controllable via included three-speed fan controller. It also support two additional 120mm fans at the top of the case. When it comes to liquid cooling, the Spec-Alpha supports up to 240mm at the front and 120mm radiator at the rear of the case.
As noted, the Corsair Carbide Series Spec-Alpha mid-tower PC case should be already available in stores with three different color options and priced at US $79.99 and you can expect to pay around €85 in Europe.
