Nvidia latest drivers cause plenty of issues

Might even kill your graphics card

Nvidia's latest Geforce 364.72 VR-ready and Game Ready drivers are apparently plagued with plenty of issues and in some cases can even kill your graphics card.

According to a rather extensive thread over at Reddit, as well as Nvidia's official Geforce forum, there are a lot of issues with the latest drivers with users reporting boot problems, blue screens, artifacts, visual corruption, G-Sync and multi-monitor issues as well as even some graphics cards that ended up broken after the new driver was installed.

Nvidia Geforce 364.72 Game Ready WHQL drivers were released late last month and brought support for both Oculus Rift as well as the upcoming HTC Vive headsets but are also Game Ready with some improvements for upcoming games.

This is not the first time that Nvidia has troubles with drivers and it appears that the company just can't seem to get a break lately and design a fully functional driver.

Nvidia has been known for stable drivers but from the creation of the Radeon Technologies Group, it appears that AMD has taken that role.
