Game streaming has become quite popular lately and while most high-end gaming system can cope with additional strain on the GPU, video encoding is still a big performance hit for some weaker systems, something that Razer's Ripsaw capture box should fix.
Powered by an USB 3.0 port, the Razer Ripsaw features HDMI input and pass-through port which allows users to connect their monitor while console users can hook it up to component and dual RCA inputs with the included adapter. It also allows users to connect additional aux and mic sources.
The device itself is able to capture 1080p video sources at up to 60 frames per second and broadcast it with Open Broadcaster Software and XSplit Broadcaster. It also needs Razer's Synapse application to function.
While it sounds a bit expensive at US $179.99, the Razer Ripsaw makes gameplay streaming quite easy and even allows users to add mic audio to the live stream.
