Logitech announces G900 Chaos Spectrum mouse

Ambidextrous wireless/wired gaming mouse

Logitech has unveiled a new addition to its line of gaming peripherals, the G900 Chaos Spectrum ambidextrous gaming mouse.

The new Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum gaming mouse is not exactly an ambidextrous gaming mouse as it does not feature a symmetrical design but rather has an ability to be customized to fit both left- and right-handed users.

Based on the same PMW3366 optical sensor that Logitech used in many of its gaming mice, it offers 200 to 12,000 DPI resolution, maximum acceleration of over 40G and maximum speed of over 300 ips.

The new G900 Chaos Spectrum also comes with new mechanical pivot button design which should reduce the pre-travel distance between buttons and switches while also reducing the force required to click. The buttons are rated for 20 million clicks.

The rest of the features include an ability to work in both wired and wireless 2.4GHz modes, an RGB lighting with 16.8 million colors, with battery life of 24 hours with RGB lightign and 32 without it and more.

The precise dimensions of the G900 Chaos Spectrum are set at 130x67x40mm and it weighs 107g. It also features 6 buttons as well as the Hyper-fast scroll wheel, on-the-fly DPS adjustment and 32-bit ARM SoC that stores up to 5 profiles.

According to Logitech, the new G900 Chaos Spectrum will be available as of next month with a suggested retail price of US $149.99/€179.99.
