SilentiumPC has unveiled a new addition to its PC case lineup, the Regnum RG1 Pure Black. The new PC case from SilentiumPC promises to be the first value-oriented PC case with dual-chamber design.
Based on a standard mid-tower design, with 430x447x208mm dimensions, brushed aluminum look and support for mATX and ATX motherboards, the Regnum RG1 Pure Black features a dual-chamber internal layout which should provide both an improved airflow as well as a cleaner cable management.
Despite being a value-oriented PC case, the Regnum RG1 Pure Black certainly does not lack any features as in addition to the dual-chamber design, which separates the PSU and storage drives from main components, it also comes with a support for up to six fans, three 120mm at the front, one 120mm at the rear and two 120mm on top of the chamber separator. This also means it has a decent support for liquid cooling setups.
The Regnum RG1 Pure Black series also comes with support for up to 380mm long graphics cards and up to 160mm tall CPU coolers, support for two 5.25-inch external drives, two 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch internal drives and features two USB 3.0 ports on its front I/O panel.
Unfortunately, SilentiumPC did not reveal any details regarding the availability date but did note that the Regnum RG1 Pure Black will be available at an incredible suggested retail price of US $27.50 excl. tax, which certainly makes us want to check it out.
