MSI has launched two new Geforce GTX 950 series graphics card that will be limited to 75W TDP and do not need an additional 6-pin PCI-Express power connector for power, the MSI GTX950-2GD5-OCV2 and the MSI GTX950-2GD5-OCV3.

Both new MSI Geforce GTX 950 graphics cards are based on the same 28nm GM206 Maxwell GPU with 768 CUDA cores and work at the same 1076MHz GPU base and 1253MHz GPU Boost clocks.

Both also pack 2GB of GDDR5 memory, clocked at 6600MHz, and with a 128-bit memory interface. Both graphics cards also use MSI's Military Class 4 components and come with DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

The difference between two new MSI graphics cards is in the cooler, as the OCV2 version comes with a single fan cooler while the OCV3 version uses a dual fan cooler, both with a white shroud.

MSI did not provide any details regarding the price or the availability date but we do expect them to show up soon at around €120 in Europe and around €150 in the US. Aimed at mainstream gaming at 1080p resolution, the Geforce GTX 950 is the workforce of Nvidia's mainstream lineup.
