Colorful has unveiled two new Geforce GTX 950 graphics cards, the Colorful 950-2GD5 and the iGame 950-2GD5 Ymir-U.
Both based on the 2nd generation GM206 Maxwell GPU with 768 CUDA cores and packing 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and clocked at 6600MHz. Both new GTX 950 series graphics cards from Colorful also feature two DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs as well as use a similar dual-slot cooler with two 80mm fans and need a single 6-pin PCI-Express power connector.
The iGame 950-2GD5 Ymir-U incorporates a single massive heatpipe as well as comes with a couple of other features including Silver Plating Technology and iGame Pure-Power Inductance (IPP) and does not spin up fans until the temperature reaches 60°C.
Both new GTX 950 graphics cards from Colorful also work at same standard GPU clocks of 1026MHz base and 1190MHz GPU Boost clocks, except for the fact that iGame 950-2GD5 Ymir-U actually comes with iGame overclocking button which switches to a second BIOS, pushing GPU clocks to 1140/1329MHz.
Unfortunately, Colorful did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date but we guess we will see them soon.
