AMD will show Polaris at Capsaicin event

More companies to take a part at the event

AMD has released a bit more details regarding it Capsaicin even that will kick off today and be streamed live. According to released details, AMD will give a sneak peak at Polaris architecture and some big names like HTC, Oculus and Crytek will join the event.

A press release sent out by AMD says that the event will "feature industry luminaries including Crytek, HTC, Oculus, and previews of new silicon and software advancements." AMD has previously showcased the first Polaris GPU to members of the press so this suggest that the company might do the same at its Capsaicin event but also show a bit more details.

With Oculus and HTC on board, it is obvious that a big part of the event will be focused on virtual reality (VR) and the star of the show should be the dual-GPU graphics card, also known as the Fury X2 and Radeon Pro duo.

Crytek could also show a couple of interesting things as well so it will be an interesting event.

AMD has already set up a stream for the Capsaicin event and you can find it at Ustream.com.
