Cooler Master unveils new budget CPU coolers

The Hyper 212X and the Hyper TX3i

Cooler Master has unveiled two new tower CPU coolers, the Hyper 212X and the Hyper TX3i. Upgrading on the design of the earlier available Hyper 212 and the Hyper TX3, both new CPU coolers should be much better than stock CPU coolers and quite affordable.

The Hyper 212X is a standard tower CPU cooler with support for both Intel and AMD CPUs. With dimensions set at 120x89x158mm and 492g of weight, the Hyper 212X should fit in most PC cases. It features Cooler Master's X-Vent technology with vents placed at a 45 degree angle around each heatpipe as well as patent V-Shaped array and CDC Technology.

The four 6mm copper heatpipes on the Hyper 212X are in direct contact with the CPU and connected to a heatsink with aluminum fins. The heatsink is cooled by a 120mm PWMM rifle-bearing fan spinning between 600 and 1,700 RPM, providing 24.9 to 54.65 CFM of airflow and 9 to 27.2 dBA of noise.

The Hyper 212X supports Intel LGA 2011-3/2011/1156/1155/1151/1150/775 and AMD AM3+/AM3/AM2+/FM2+/FM2/FM1 sockets.

The Hyper TX3i is the newest addition to the Hyper TX series and only supports Intel's LGA 1150/1151/1155/1156/775 CPUs. Due to its smaller size of 90x79x136mm, the Hyper TX3i can be used in a dual fan configuration as well. It comes with a single 92mm PWM fan spinning between 800 and 2,200 RPM, producing 15.7 to 43.1 CFM of airflow and 17 to 30 dBA of noise.

Both the Hyper 212X and the Hyper TX3i should be already available all around Europe with a price set at €29.50 and €18.50, respectively.
