Thecus launches the new N2810 2-bay NAS

Based on Intel Braswell N3050 dual-core CPU

Thecus has announced the launch of its newest 2-bay Network Attached Storage (NAS) which is based on Intel's Braswell N3050 dual-core CPU and should provide seamless 4K multimedia playback, the Thecus N2810 NAS.

Based on Intel's 14nm Braswell Celeron N3050 dual-core CPU clocked at 1600 MHz base and 2167 maximum Turbo frequency, paired up with 2GB of DDR3 RAM, the new Thecus N2810 2-bay NAS promises seamless 4K multimedia playback, multitasking and high security with AES-NI encryption engine.

It supports two SATA internal drives in RAID 0, 1 and JBOD and features Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port.

The Thecus N2810 2-bay NAS runs on newly designed ThecusOS 7.0 which features intuitive user interface and several new features like Photo Station, Thecus App Center and User Profile.

The Thecus N2810 2-bay NAS comes bundled with free Intel Security and Acronis software.

According to Thecus, the new N2810 2-bay NAS should be available in mid-Febuary with a price set at around €359.
