Kingston teases new Predator NVMe SSD at CES 2016

With sequential read of up to 2.5GB/s

While we already had a chance to get a glimpse of it at IDF 2015, Kingston brought its new HyperX NVMe based SSD at CES 2016, revealing a bit more details about it.

Spotted by Maximum PC, Kingston's first HyperX NVMe SSD will be available in 240GB, 480GB and 960GB capacities and available with an optional PCIe add-in-card for those motherboards without an M.2 slot. The SSD was spotted running at CES 2016 and providing read and write sequential performance of up 2585 MB/s and 1,354MB/s, respectively.

While Kingston did not unveil any further details, including the type of NAND or the controller, it di say that the new HyperX Predator NVMe SSD is scheduled to launch sometime during the Q2 2016. Hopefully, we will see it soon enough and hear a bit more details about it.
