EVGA announces new GTX 970 Hybrid graphics card

Paired up with an AiO liquid cooler

Previously available with GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti and GTX Titan X graphics cards, EVGA has now announced a newest member of the Hybrid series, the EVGA Geforce GTX 970 Hybrid Gaming graphics card.

Using Asetek's all-in-one (AiO) self-contained liquid cooling solution with a copper GPU block and a 120mm radiator cooled by a 120mm variable controlled fan, the new GTX 970 Hybrid Gaming should be significantly cooler when compared to the reference cooled Geforce GTX 970 graphics card. While the AiO liquid cooling system takes care of the GPU, a standard blower fan, combined with dedicated heatsinks, keeps both the VRM and memory cooled.

Although not the fastest Geforce GTX 970 in EVGA's lineup, the new GTX 970 Hybrid Gaming has a decent factory-overclock pushing the GPU base clock to 1140MHz and GPU boost clock to 1279MHz. It also comes with 4GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface and clocked at reference 7010MHz.

As expected, it needs two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors and comes with standard two DVI, HDMI and a DisplayPort output configuration.

The new EVGA GTX 970 Hybrid Gaming is already available at EVGA's own webshop and should be also available in all major retail/e-tail shops with a suggested retail price of US $399.99.
