Gigabyte has unveiled its newest Radeon R9 Fury graphics card which will be using Gigabyte's well known WindForce 3X triple-fan cooler.
To be known under GV-R9FURYWF3OC-4GD model name, the new graphics card from Gigabyte appears to be based on a custom PCB since it does not use a short PCB usually found on reference graphics cards. Unfortunately, the hefty triple-fan WindForce 3X cooler also makes it a triple-slot graphics card but it does feature a backplate.
Gigabyte's Radeon R9 Fury WindForce will also feature a slight factory-overclock, pushing the GPU to 1010MHz, compared to reference 1000MHz, while 4GB of High Bandwidth Memory remained at reference 500MHz. The Gigabyte R9 Fury Windforce needs two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors and features DVI, HDMI 1.4a and three DisplayPort 1.2a outputs.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not unveil any details regarding the price or the availability date for the new R9 Fury Windforce graphics card.
