EVGA has announced its new Hybrid Faceoff Program, a free shroud upgrade for owners of Hybrid series GTX 980 Ti, GTX 980 and GTX Titan X graphics cards.
While the new shroud does not improve anything in terms of cooling, it looks much better than the original shroud. It has a slightly different design and include a front LED that can be controlled the same way as the Geforce logo on top of the graphics card.
The list of graphics card that are eligible for the Hybrid Faceoff Program include the GTX 980 Hybrid, GTX 980 Ti Hybrid, and the EVGA GTX Titan X Hybrid.
If you missed them earlier, EVGA Hybrid series graphics cards are based on a reference PCB paired up with a hybrid cooler where an all-in-one liquid cooler takes care of the GPU while the standard blower fan cools down the memory and the VRM.
According to EVGA, this is a limited time offer and the shroud is free as long as you have a proof that you own one of those Hybrid series graphics cards.
