AMD has released its latest Catalyst 15.9 Beta drivers that will bring some game optimizations as well as resolve some issues and bugs.
According to the release notes, the new Catalyst 15.9 Beta drivers bring performance optimizations for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game which will soon enter its open beta testing phase as well as DirectX 12 optimizations for the Fable Legends benchmark.
In addition to game optimizations, the new Catalyst 15.9 Beta drivers also fix some issues and bugs, including issues with Diablo 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, World of Warships, Assassin's Creed Unity and Dirt Rally. It also fixes some bugs where AMD Catalyst Control Center update option fails to load the latest driver, and some issues with BenQ 144Hz FreeSync monitors.
The release notes also list a couple of known issues that are still present so there is still some things to fix for the WHQL-release.
The new Catalyst 15.9 Beta drivers support all AMD Radeon graphics cards since HD 5000 series and are available for Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
