Confirmed by AMD
While AMD has recently launched its newest Radeon R9 370X graphics card, which is basically a rebranded Radeon R9 270X, it appears that this one will be "a regional product designed for and released only in China."
In case you missed it earlier, the Radeon R9 370X is based on a Trinidad XT GPU, which is basically a well known Pitcairn GPU, featuring 1280 Stream Processors, 80 TMUs, 32 ROPs and comes with 2 or 4GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface.
As it was spotted only in China, Head of Global Technical Marketing at AMD, Robert Hallock, confirmed in a Twitter post, that this graphics card will indeed be limited to China market and will not be coming to other markets.
AMD still needs a solid sub-$200 graphics card that will compete with the likes of GTX 960, but it appears that the rest of the world is still stuck with Radeon R9 370.
