New Lumia flagships
According to the latest rumors, Microsoft could launch its newest Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL flagship smartphone on October 19th.
The rumor comes from NokiaPowerUser site, citing a source which is familiar with the matter. According to the report, Microsoft will announce these two new smartphone at a dedicated event in New York, scheduled for October 19th.
The same source also suggest that Microsoft could also unveil both the Surface Pro 4 tablet as well as the new Microsoft Band during the same event.
Both new Lumia flagships will be running on Windows 10 Mobile OS and have some rather impressive specifications, including 2560x1440 screen, Snapdragon 810 SoC, up to 3GB of RAM and 20-megapixel PureView camera.
In any case, October is not far away so we will know for sure soon.
