G.Skill shows TridentZ DDR4-4266MHz at IDF 2015

The TridentZ DDR4-4133 as well

While Intel is talking about details regarding its new Skylake architecture at IDF 2015, G.Skill came to the same show in style, bringing and demonstrating two new high-performance DDR4 memory kits, the 8GB TridentZ DDR4-4266 kit and the 8GB TridentZ DDR4-4133 kit.

While its DDR4 Ripjaws 4 memory is firmly holding most of the records on HWBOT.org and has recently managed to hit 4901.6MHz when cooled under LN2, it is still quite impressive that G.Skill has decided to show its new TridentZ kits that run at 4266MHz and 4133MHz out of the box.

The TridentZ DDR4 4266MHz 8GB (2x4GB) kit was happily running on ASRock Z170 OC Formula motherboard with Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake CPU, while the TridentZ DDR4 4133MHz 8GB (2x4GB) kit was demoed on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero motherboard and the same Intel Core i7-6700K CPU.

“We are truly excited to demo such extremely high memory speed on live demo systems, since DDR4 4000+MHz speeds were traditionally only achievable under extreme overclocking on liquid nitrogen cooling,” says Frank Hung, Product Marketing at G.SKILL. “We see amazing performance potential for the new DDR4 memory technology on the newest Intel platform, and very excited to see where it will take us in the near future.”

These are currently the fastest demoed running DDR4 kits and we certainly can't wait to see how far can these be pushed under LN2.
