AOC unveils two new 32-inch monitors

With different panels and resolution

AOC has unveiled two new 32-inch monitors that will pretty much look the same and share the same size but feature different panels with different resolutions and specifications, the U3277PQU and the Q3277PQU.

The cheaper AOC U3277PQU will be based on a 32-inch IPS panel with WQHD 2560x1440 resolution, have 178°/178° viewing angles, 30-bit color support, 4ms response time and maximum brightness of 350 cd/m². It will include HDMI with MHL, DisplayPort 1.2, DVI and D-Sub inputs and should be quite popular with average users, especially due to its expected price of around 599 EUR.

A bit more interesting and pricier Q3277PQU will use an AMVA 32-inch panel with 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution, offer same 178°/178° viewing angles and 4 ms response time but have a slightly lower 300 cd/m² maximum brightness. It also has 30-bit color support but includes DVI, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 with MHL inputs. The Q3277PQU is expected to hit retail with a price of 999 EUR.

As noted, both monitors will have the same design and bot will offer 4-port USB hub as well as height and pivot adjustments.

Unfortunately, we still do not have a precise availability date but these should show up on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
