XPG SX930 SATA SSD launched

With JMircon controller

ADATA has announced their new XPG SX930 SSDs. These drives are based on controllers from JMircon. Apart from that ADATA is using MLC NAND and there are three different models.

Taking a closer look at the specs reveals that the SX930 SSDs are capable of performing 560 MB/s sequential read and 460 MB/s sequential write speed. ADATA is launching three different drives, where the capacities are 120G GB, 240 GB and 480 GB. As usual all the standard features are supported, which include NCQ, S.M.A.R.T. and TRIM. ADATA also bundles these drives with an "SSD Toolbox". This software lets you configure, optimize and monitor the overall health of the drive. Apart from that you can conduct security erase or firmware updates.

The SX930 series drives are backed by a 5 year warranty plan. Unfortunately there is no information on the pricing.
