The 28-inch U2870VQE
AOC has joined the other manufacturers in offering a more affordable 28-inch 4K/UHD monitor, the AOC U2870VQE.
Based on a 28-inch non-glare TN-film panel with 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution, the AOC U2870VQE has 300 cd/m² maximum brightness, mega dynamic contrast ratio of 70M:1 and 1ms (GTG) response time. It is also based on a 10-bit panel (8-bit with Frame-Rate-Control) which is able to reproduce 1.07 billion colors for richer and more vivid images.
With a minimalistic design with narrow bezel, the AOC U2870VQE allows tilt adjustments and comes with DisplayPort 1.2, mini-DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI with MHL display outputs.
While most 28-inch 4K/UHD monitors are priced at way above US $450 mark, AOC's recommended price of US $349 certainly sounds like a good deal.
