While there are plenty of nice and good looking PC cases on the market, nothing beats the custom design if you ask any modder in the world and the world's first 3D printed custom PC case is something that we have not seen so far and we have to say that it looks good now that it is done.

While it might cost the modder an arm and a leg, with over US $500 just in 3D printed parts of the case, complx from Overclockers.com forums finally made it a reality. While it had plenty of set backs and even forced him to change his design a couple of times, it is finally done.

Calling it the Node, which might not go well with Fractal Design, although the design is nowhere near, the 3D printed PC case is now done and looks quite impressive.

The custom Node 3D printed PC case uses a combination of 3D printed parts with laser cut acrylic panels and we can't wait to see the entire system finished with all the components and water cooling.

3D printing is quite cool and it is nice to see it move to PC cases as well.
