Alleged Radeon Fury X 3DMark benchmark leaks

On par with the Geforce Titan X

Although it does not come as a surprise, we now have the first alleged 3DMark benchmark result for the upcoming AMD Radeon Fury X flagship graphics card, which is according to results, pretty much on par with the Geforce GTX Titan X.

According to the 3DMark FireStrike Ultra and Extreme results average posted by Videocardz.com, the AMD Radeon Fury X is just slightly slower than GTX Titan X, by 100 points or so, but is faster than Geforce GTX 980 Ti, all based on reference clocks. The AMD Fury X also behaves well in Crossfire as two of those graphics cards are slightly slower than two GTX Titan X graphics cards in SLI.

Unfortunately, these results are taken as an average result from both the FireStrike Ultra and FireStrike Extreme results and we still do not know if this is a liquid cooled Fury X or the air-cooled one.

What is now clear is that these synthetic results are great and it appears that Radeon Fury X will be an incredible graphics card, especially if the rumored US $849 to US $889 price tag proves to be true.
