Gigabyte's Intel Z170 lineup spotted at Computex

Plenty of motherboards from entry-level to high-end

Gigabyte came to Computex 2015 show well prepared with plenty of Intel Z170 Express chipset motherboard ranging from the entry-level GA-Z170-HD3 and GA-Z170X-UD3 up to full Gaming series lineup, including the high-end Z170 G1 Gaming motherboard.

As you can see from some of the pictures below, courtesy of both Albreecht Mesotten, a well known overclocker, and Wccftech.com site, Gigabyte will have quite an extensive motherboard lineup with different color schemes. All pictured motherboards are based on Intel's upcoming Z170 Express chipset with support for Intel LGA 1151 socket 6th generation Skylake CPUs.

While entry- and mid-range Z170 Express motherboard from Gigabyte are nice, more interesting is the Gaming lineup, including the flagship GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 motherboard. Gigabyte is switching to a new color scheme with black PCB combined with red and white accents, which looks anything but bad. It will have a hefty 22-phase VRM design which should allow overclockers to get some rather impressive scores. The VRM is cooled by a hybrid heatsink that can be combined with liquid cooling system.

It also comes with four DDR4 memory slots with support for up to 64GB of 3300MHz memory, on-board buttons and OC switches, four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, three PCI-Express 3.0 x1 and two M.2 32Gbps ports, in addition to 10 SATA 6Gbps ports and three SATA Express ports.

It also has plenty of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports as well as Creative Sound Blaster ZxRi integrated sound card and Killer Double Shot Pro X3 network.

The rest of the Gigabyte's Z170 Gaming lineup, the GA-Z170X-Gaming GT and the GA-Z170X-Gaming 7, GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 and the GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 are variations with less features and different features, but will still be an interesting offer from Gigabyte.

There will be plenty of more talk and details regarding Gigabyte's Z170X lineup as we officially seen them launched with Intel's upcoming Skylake CPUs.
